Threads of Light: Emirati-Inspired Lampshade Art

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Description

Join us for Threads of Light: Emirati-Inspired Lampshade Art, a hands-on creative workshop led by artist Nazra Nazimudeen. Participants will design and decorate a fabric lampshade inspired by elements of Emirati art and culture, combining traditional aesthetics with contemporary craft techniques.

With guidance from Nazra Nazimudeen throughout the session, participants will explore painting, fabric appliqué, beadwork, and simple embroidery to create a unique illuminated piece. The workshop encourages creativity and cultural appreciation while offering participants the opportunity to create a functional artwork for their home.
