International Museum Day | Curator-Led Tour
Description
Join us for a special Curator-Led Tour at Bassam Freiha Art Foundation in celebration of International Museum Day.
Led by Dr. Michaela Watrelot, Curator and Director of Exhibitions at BFAF, this guided tour offers visitors a closer look into the Foundation’s current exhibitions through the perspective of the curator herself.
Dr. Michaela Watrelot is a curator, educator, and author with a PhD in History of Art from Charles University in Prague. At Bassam Freiha Art Foundation, she leads exhibition planning, educational programming, and strategic partnerships. Her expertise spans nineteenth- and twentieth-century art, public art commissions, and art market studies. She is also the author of Wilhelm von Bode and the American Art Market: The Rudolphe Kann Collection (Routledge, 2023).
Exploring selected artworks, curatorial narratives, and the ideas shaping the exhibitions on view, the tour invites visitors to engage more deeply with the stories, themes, and artistic dialogues presented throughout the galleries.
