Creative Henna Painting: A Mother & Daughter Experience
Description
A guided henna art workshop exploring traditional patterns, technique, and a shared creative experience between mother and daughter. During the session, participants will explore ready-made patterns using tracing paper, learning how to transfer and decorate beautiful designs step by step. With the support of the artist, participants will practice creating their own compositions together in a relaxed and supportive setting.
Mothers and daughters will have the opportunity to apply designs on each other, or choose a design to be carefully applied by the artist at the end of the session. This workshop is designed to be engaging and accessible to all levels, from beginners to those with prior experience. All materials will be provided.

Saba Alhawamdeh
Saba Alhawamdeh is a self-taught multidisciplinary and henna artist whose work spans oil, acrylic, watercolor, and sketching. She believes art should not be confined by rules or strict instructions, but guided by passion, feeling, and personal expression. Much of her work draws inspiration from animals and organic forms, focusing on emotion, movement, and connection.
Among the various projects and creative workshops she has conducted, one of her notable projects was a live painting installation at MIZA Abu Dhabi during The Alley season in 2024, where she created a large-scale acrylic artwork celebrating biodiversity and vibrant storytelling.
Through both painting and henna, Saba aims to create open, expressive spaces where creativity feels intuitive and accessible to everyone.
