Meditation & Clay Pot Painting Workshop
Description
Bassam Freiha Art Foundation hosted From Intention to Creation, a calming, beginner-friendly workshop that brings together guided meditation and creative clay pot painting. Designed as an immersive, mindful experience, the session encouraged participants to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and set a personal intention before translating it into colour and form.
The workshop began with a gentle meditation, inviting attendees to ground themselves in the present moment and explore the emotions or ideas they wished to express. Participants were then guided through the process of painting their clay pots, using intuitive mark-making and colour choices to reflect their intentions in a peaceful and supportive environment.
Created to offer both relaxation and creative exploration, the session provided a space for reflection, self-expression, and quiet connection with the artistic process. Each participant left with a hand-painted clay pot and a planted succulent — a small, living reminder of the intention they set during the workshop.
This programme forms part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to accessible, creative experiences that nurture well-being, community, and artistic engagement.
