Making Fossils with kids
Description
Children will press natural objects into clay to create their own handmade “fossils,” discovering how impressions are formed in nature through a fun, tactile, and creative process.
Guided by simple techniques, participants will explore textures, shapes, and patterns found in the natural world while learning how everyday materials can leave lasting marks.
The workshop encourages curiosity, hands-on experimentation, and imaginative thinking, allowing each child to create a unique fossil-inspired piece to take home.
