Listening Majlis by Amin Fari

Bassam Freiha Art Foundation invites you to a unique sound experience led by multidisciplinary artist Amin Fari.

 

Inspired by the intimacy of the Japanese Kissaten and the communal spirit of the Arab Majlis, The Listening Majlis brings audiences together to rediscover the art of listening. Through curated vinyl records, Amin Fari creates an atmosphere where music, art, and conversation intertwine in a meditative rhythm.

 

Each evening unfolds through cycles of shared listening, reflection, and dialogue—guided by Amin Fari’s storytelling and musical selections. On the final day, guest artist Eduardo Benito will join for a conversation about his album and the craft of vinyl production.
