Join us for a special ladies only workshop at Bassam Freiha Art Foundation in honor of Emirati Women’s Day, led by the talented Emirati artist Dr. Najat Makki.
In this workshop, we will explore the dreams and aspirations of Emirati women and women around the world. What does this day mean to you? What do you wish for and dream of? Together, we will reflect on the beauty, delicacy, sensitivity, and grandeur that this day symbolizes for every woman.
You will create a mixed media artwork that captures these reflections. Please note to make your piece more personal you need to bring; black and white portrait photo (copy), sized at a quarter of an A4 sheet, of yourself or a woman you cherish, to incorporate into your artwork.
