Born in Abu Dhabi, Noor Al Suwaidi is an Emirati artist, curator, and cultural producer who has shaped the UAE art scene for over two decades. She studied studio art at the American University in Washington, DC (2004) and earned a Master’s in Curating Contemporary Design from Kingston University, London (2009).
Her practice bridges figuration and abstraction, using fluid lines and intuitive colors that echo her Arabic handwriting. Seeing the human form as inherently abstract, she creates works that balance harmony and tension, inviting open interpretation.
