Air Dry Clay Paints Palette: A Family Workshop

Description

A hands-on clay workshop designed for one parent and one child to explore creativity together through simple clay modeling techniques.

During the session, participants will be introduced to air-dry clay and guided through basic clay shaping and carving methods. Working side by side, parents and children will create their own paint mixing palette while exploring texture, colours, and creativity in a fun and engaging environment.

With guidance throughout the process, participants will develop their ideas and enjoy a shared creative experience in a relaxed and supportive setting.

Artist

Safia Al Jumaan

Safia Al Jumaan is a ceramist and art instructor with a Diploma in Art and Heritage Management. Inspired by nature, traditional architecture, and cultural heritage, her practice spans pottery, eco-printing, bas-relief, and experimental techniques such as kintsugi, collage, and papier-mâché.

 

She has led workshops with institutions including Bassam Freiha Art Foundation, Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, and NYU Abu Dhabi, and regularly participates in exhibitions, including her first group show at Paris Sorbonne University.
