Description

Bassam Freiha Art Foundation is pleased to invite you to a special lecture by Elsie El Deek Bou Jaoude, Art Historian and Director of the USEK Museum.

This talk offers a rare glimpse into the unseen work of museums, exploring how conservation, research, and collaboration shape collections beyond what is visible to the public. Drawing on case studies from the USEK Museum, the lecture highlights conservation as both a technical and human commitment to preserving heritage, while also examining how museums communicate these stories through exhibitions, education, and public engagement.
