Sumaira Ashik
Sumaira Mohammed Ashik is a Dubai-based licensed calligraphy artist and abstract painter known for her distinctive fusion of Arabic calligraphy and metallic textured abstraction. Originally trained as an electronics engineer, she transitioned into a full-time artistic practice after discovering her passion for calligraphy seven years ago.
Her work spans large-scale Islamic abstract paintings, live performances, and collaborations with luxury brands and high-profile events across the GCC. An experienced instructor, she has taught over 300 students, with her work featured in galleries, residences, and prestigious regional events.
